2018 Reads | Wishlist & Favorites of 2017

Reading is such a passion of mine, and I’m so grateful that I have the opportunity to spend time reading. When I was in school, reading novel was always on the back burner. Even during breaks and the summers, I found it hard to read a novel “just for fun.” Since I’ve graduated from university, I’ve gotten back into the habit of reading…or listening to audiobooks much more often than before.

I’ve blogged before about my love of Audible and the HUGE selection of audiobooks they offer. While audiobooks aren’t for everyone, I like them because I’m able to multitask. I’m really not that busy, but I like being able to tidy things up, or get ready for work or bed while listening to a book. There is something that I love about getting lost in a book, and it’s just as easy to do while listening to an audiobook!

Below I’ve shared some of my picks for 2018- obviously there will be new titles released throughout the year, so my list will likely never be complete!

May Cause Miracles-  Gabrielle Bernstein

A Stranger in the House – Shari Lapena

The Baker’s Secret: A Novel – Stephen P. Kiernan

My Husband’s Wife: A Novel –  Jane Corry

The Cuckoo’s Calling – Robert Galbraith (90% finished, but I don’t find it super engaging, so I read it off and on)

The Nightingale – Kristin Hannah

The Alice Network –

Pretty Baby – Mary Kubica

Books that I’ve LOVED through 2017 (and may I say, 2017 was a KILLER year for fantastic novels)

The Chemist- Stephenie Meyer

(yes, she wrote Twilight…no, this is nothing like it. The Chemist is THE TOP BOOK of 2017 in my mind!)

Behind Closed Doors – B.A Paris

The Good Girl – Mary Kubica

Don’t You Cry – Mary Kubica

The Couple Next Door – Shari Lapena

The Breakdown –  B.A Paris

The Woman in Cabin 10 – Ruth Ware
